Determine which materials in the catalogue are required in the future? (using defined criteria)

• Used in PM Orders?  By FLoc, Equipment
• Has purchasing history?
• Stock turnover?
• Material transaction (MSEG) analysis? – consumption frequency by movement type
• Action – exclude materials not meeting usage criteria

Of the subset of materials with usage, which materials are identifiable? Assess:

• Description format, attributes and standardization
• Manufacturerand Manufacturer Part Number (MNFR & MPN)
• Classification specification values (if they exist)
• Action – exclude hopelessly unidentifiable materials

Apply Description Standards to remaining items

Implement BoM improvements

Remove or Hide Invalid Materials (flagged for deletion)

Improve Governance and Admin Processes to better align with Asset Lifecycle
